MEDS|POD™
MEDS|POD is an integrated point-of-dispensing solution for large scale dispensing operations which are typically set up to respond to public health emergencies. It is scaleable, easily configured, set up, and used. A common issue confronting organizations planning for mass prophylaxis operations is balancing speed of treatment with clinical safety. MEDS|POD bridges the gap, facilitating safety and speed of clinic operations. Non-clinical personnel register patients and the Decision Support Service identifies patient risk, routes to the appropriate level of care and recommends a medication. MEDS|POD is fully functional as a standalone application, so internet access is not required. The system includes a patient registration module and facilitates mass prophylaxis efforts at the Point of Dispensing with far fewer clinicians than manual models.
